So I installed a 3.5kw generator to act as a backup when my solar does not produce much.It has a built in 10a battery charger and I have an additional 7amp charger giving me a total of about 17amps 12 charging power.This generator is not my ideal backup as a kettle 2000watt can sometimes cause the engine to stall.This is a three phase generator wich requires loads balanced on each phase that is not possible in a single phase home so one phase it overloaded this is why I think it stalls.
